About

Hey, everybody! Thanks for checking out my website. If you’re here, you probably already know I’m the morning anchor at the NBC affiliate in Milwaukee.  I first moved to Milwaukee in the mid-90′s, and now?  It’s home.

As a veteran anchor, I’ve covered all sorts of stories – everything from bad weather and crime to the Packers Super Bowl runs.  But my favorite stories are the kinds that make a difference in people’s lives.  The impact and power of TV is never lost on me.

Working mornings means early bedtimes and wake-up calls.  My alarm goes off at 2:30 am!  I admit, though, that I hit the snooze button about three times. Once I’m up, I’m fine.  Ok, Monday mornings are a little rough.  I chose to work part-time so that I can better balance work with motherhood.  Luckily, I have that choice, so I’m done at about 7:30, with the whole day ahead of me to work public events and spend time with my kids.

I’m passionate about contributing to my community.  I believe in shopping and eating locally, when possible.  I donate time to causes that make a difference in the lives of women and children, such as Women for MACC, Healthy Families of Waukesha County, and the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee.

But my baby, pardon the pun, is “The Community Baby Shower.”

A little background on my life: I’m married to an amazing man and we have three children (two girls and a boy). They steal my heart every day.

On this site you’ll see more about these favorites of mine – family, work, golf and home design – and it is dedicated to you, the wonderful viewers that share your time and stories with me.  Thank you for being a part of my day, every day!
