Susan Kim emcees $1 Million Dollar Hole-In-One Shootout

Y.E. Yang played during Media Day at Whistling Straits, then we rode with him to Tuckaway in Frankli, Wisconsin where he hit 5 balls to try and get a hole-in-one to win $1,000,000 for the MACC Fund. He tried but didn’t make one. The MACC Fund still got $5,000!

Chili’s and the MACC Fund, in conjunction with The PGA of America, are very excited to offer the Chili’s MACC Open golfers a very special event immediately following their round created especially for the Chili’s MACC Open. Golfers will gather around the 18th green to cheer on the reigning PGA Championship winner, Y.E. Yang, as he competes in a $1 Million Hole-In-One Shootout to benefit the MACC Fund! He will be teeing off from the 18th fairway, 185 yards from the pin, in hopes of sinking one of ten shots for the $1 million ultimate donation.

After the $1 Million Hole-In-One Shootout, Y.E. Yang, in addition to PGA of America leadership, will field questions from the Chili’s MACC Open golfers who hope to be able to say “Thanks a Million, Y.E.!The iconic Wanamaker Trophy will be on display as well!

The MACC Fund has contributed $36 million to pediatric cancer and blood disorder research since its inception in 1976 thanks to many donors like those who have played in the Open, a cornerstone of support. Overall cure rates for childhood cancer have risen from 20% to 80% during this time.
